  1. How do I create a profile in the new volunteer position database?
    On www.volunteerburnaby.ca, click “I want to Volunteer”, then “Find a volunteer opportunity”. On the login page, click the menu button on the right and then click “Register as a Volunteer”.
  1. Can I search for volunteer positions based on my specific skills and interests?
    Yes! You can search from a variety of different categories including the kind of cause you’re interested in or the skills you’re hoping to put to use.
  1. How do I track my application status for the volunteer positions I’ve applied for?
    On your main page, there is a list of your open applications. The status of your application is shared with you there. The status options you’ll see are: 
    Applied
    Interview Request Sent
    Interviewed
    Accepted
    Declined
    Archived
  1. Can I communicate directly with the organizations offering the volunteer positions through the database?
    The organization will either send an interview request through the database or an email to you directly. You can respond to them either way.
